14k yellow gold tapered knife edge band, about 1.9mm wide and 1.9mm thick. It is currently a size 6 and can be resized for a fee. Rings are non-refundable after resizing, however. Please allow 1-2 weeks for resizing; Email us with your desired size after purchase.
The setting is low profile for comfort, and also to protect the gemstone halo by keeping it close to the hand. The gemstone halo rings should be worn with care like antique jewelry; They should be removedbefore doing yardwork, exercise, housework, and swimming and bathing. Even sleeping in jewelry can damage it :) Please wear them with care. This piece was durable enough to withstand the process of cutting and polishing. Should the halo break, however, we can replace it for a minimal fee. Do not soak this ring, but gently scrub the underside of the diamond bezel for cleaning under running water.
About White Onyx:
"White onyx" is another name for white agate, and is said to be a grounding stone, bringing about an emotional, physical and intellectual balance. Agate is also a stone of marital and relational fidelity.
Agate was used by the Ancients on the breastplates of armor to give warriors strength and make them victorious in battle. Energetically, it was considered to give strength in battle and was also believed in the past to be a very protective stone.
